Macro Run macro choice browse dialog shows two files when only one is open.

This is on a Terminal Server and there are two files in question, one in \\server\ipdata\apps\macros  named ipsd.mex and another in a subfolder named \dev\. The dialog doesn't show the file names but I can only presume since the macro list is the same that it's showing both the development and production macros.

2009/05/19 1038 Apparently the real problem is that the dialog is correct but MEP explorer is wrong. There are two files loaded.

2009/05/19 1106 Performed an experiment that clearly shows that one can not close a file loaded from HKLM.

Term MEP Player & Editor
Wipe out HKCU Files
Check that Prod is in HKLM
Launch MEP and note that nothing has changed
Manually open dev from MEP Explorer and add. Both files appear in Explorer.
Observe HKLM is the same. In HKCU File 0 is dev adn File 1 is prod.
Attempt to right click and close prod and it fails. Reg remains the same.
Close dev and observe that both File 0 and File 1 are wiped out in HKCU.
Reopen dev has same effect.
Closed dev again.
Open dev MEX with "Close all open files..." option.
Observe that dev copy is the only apparent MEX file open in MEP Explorer.
HKCU still shows File 0 as dev and File 1 as prod.
Macro Run > Brose dialog shows two files.
Running a hotkey macro casues two instances of a dialog in macro.
MEP becomes confused and unresponsive and must be terminated.
Recreate scenario before up to before crash.
Terminate MEP editor and player.
Reg still shows HKCU with both files listed.
I open MEP but this causes the startup macro to fire which wipes the HKCU and relaods.
