MacroFileDest
in silent install creates the file as described in help but MEP fails to
launch it.
If one properly uses the MacroFileDest parameter the macexinstall.exe does get copied to the desired location but no matter where it ends up MEP tries to launch "...My Docs\Insight Software\macex.mex". I tried 8.3 and normal path works to get the macex.mex to the desired location. Putting quotes in path appears to make the install crash. 2009/05/07 0828 According to ISS this is the normal operation. I asked that they update the help file to be clear. Personally I think that if you have a default library this should be the one that is loaded by, errr... default. But according to them this should be controlled by the ConfigFile. |
