Seeding a variable with a folder name results in "The Dialog was Canceled"2009/04/22 1645 EG: Set a variable to "c:\windows\" and then Variable Set String with the Prompt for File Name option using the same variable. Observe that no dialog appears and the macro terminates with no errors. Run with F9 and not in the debug messages it say there is an error on line 2 "The Dialog was Canceled". Verified on Windows 2003 Server and Vista Ultimate. In ME3 this technique allows one to have the file selection dialog box open in a desired folder instead of always starting from the desktop. |
