Trying to do an Text File Process when the
file is locked by Excel causes MEP to crash.
Originally happened on a W2K WS at Saint Vincent's with a CSV file and I couldn't email a call stack. I believe I misreported it as ASCII File Process. 2009/02/17 2212 Happened again just now with VU WS and a TSV. In the
scripting editor using F9 it simply crashed. Running from the Hot Key
caused an IO Error 32 then crashed. ASCII File Process complains that
the file is locked and aborts macro but does not crash. |
