When one has two files open and one drags a macro from one file to another you get an icon like this:
But if you hold the control button you get an icon like this:
A plus sign, to me at least, indicates it should copy instead of move the macro but it moves. I verified it’s still a problem with the production release. 2009/02/20 1434 ISS has removed it from their tracking system and are not going to fix it. Their argument is that a macro can not exist in two categories but the flaw in this logic is that if we are copying we're creating a new macro so the argument is invalid IMHO. I also believe that when dragging and dropping between macros the default action should be to copy, not to move. ISS does not agree. But the work around is simple, just always remember to copy first, then drag and drop. 2009/02/20 1723 ISS has decided to reopen the tracker. |
